Welcome to Calgary ELITE Flag Football League
We offer an exciting opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills, compete at a high level, and be part of a community dedicated to the sport of football. Below, we outline the three tiers of costs associated with our program:
Tier 1: Tryouts
Cost: $35/player
What's Included: Tryout costs cover the registration fee and include insurance provided by Football Alberta.
Tryout Details: Open to all aspiring players, the tryouts serve as the initial step to showcase your talent and potential to be a part of the Calgary Youth Football Program.
Tier 2: Registration Fee
Cost: Additional $65/player for those who make the team
What's Included: The registration fee covers participation in four training sessions/games, contributing to the overall development of each player.
Team Selection: Participants who successfully make the team are required to pay the additional registration fee.
Tier 3: Travel Costs for ALL-STAR Team Selection
Cost: TBD (Transportation and Hotel fees will be covered, families responsible for meals, etc.)
All-Star Team Selection: Two players from each of the U12, U14, and U16 teams will be selected to represent Calgary in the BCCFA Invitational Tournament in Kelowna, BC.
Tournament Details:
- BCCFA Joe Gluska Flag Invitational on June 7, 8 & 9
- Teams are guaranteed eight games over three days.
- Championship games will be live-streamed on VBN Sport – vbnsports.com.
Cost Breakdown: The total cost for the tournament is yet to be determined, as we are actively exploring sponsorship options. Transportation and hotel fees will be covered, but families will be responsible for meals and other personal expenses.
